Case study - University of Sydney
A total managed enterprise print solution improving efficiency, end user satisfaction and the bottom line.
The university conducted an onsite audit of all imaging and copying devices (ICD) including photocopiers, multi-function devices and printers. The audit findings provided a blueprint for a technological restructure with forecasted savings of around AUD$11 million over five years. This blueprint recommended fleet rationalisation, centralised device management and a reduction in ownership costs such as repairs, maintenance and consumables. The project was put out to tender and awarded to CSG.
CSG introduced its ICD optimisation program, helping to streamline and centralise the fleet procurement process. This program ensures the right device for each job is procured and delivered seamlessly and cost effectively. This included consultation with each department and the tailored provision of imaging and copy device recommendations according to specific needs.
