PUMA wanted to enhance the in-store customer experience of their flagship Sydney store by installing display technology that visually represents the essence and vitality of the brand and entices shoppers in store. They were looking for an engaging and stimulating way to showcase seasonal new ranges, new products being launched, sponsorships and other promotions.
PUMA had initially enlisted the services of another supplier to install a wall of high impact display screens, however there has been issues with installation and PUMA was continually experiencing faults. An additional challenge was that much of the visual content PUMA was required to use was supplied from their head office in Germany and distributed directly by the overseas marketing team. This being the case they needed a content management system that could trouble shoot compatibility problems and integrate this content seamlessly. Realising they needed a better solution, Puma turned to the team at CSG.
CSG’s experience in the digital display space meant they could initially assist by stepping in and manually deploying the content to the media player for the screens whilst awaiting PUMA’s IT department to complete connection to the company servers based in Germany. This gave PUMA the capability to remotely deploy and publish content immediately, meaning they could control and manage the content appearing at all times. With the content displayed in store constantly changing, PUMA needed a user-friendly system that would ensure content is easily streamed without interruption.
As a result of the service provided in Sydney, CSG was again engaged to install the Melbourne Central site; a deployment that was conducted after hours to minimise any disruption to customers and staff.
The display solution itself provides a high quality, anti-glare display ensuring a powerful impact at the in-store front window point. This ability to grab customer attention with visually arresting content in the highly competitive retail space, helped drive customer engagement and retail traffic.
